But, really, the dog comes first
Rest day
We’re taking today easy – I’m going to try to post a few times (preferably shuffling from cafe to cafe while drinking coffee, interspersed with soaking in hot tubs.)
(No hover-text today – I don’t think it is working and I’m not in a place where I can figure it out.)
1. Apparently I can take a picture of the wind:
On our last travel day, we stopped in a place of boiling mud pits. That is – there are so many guisers and steam vents (and sulphur smells) that in puddles, the mud actually bubbles and boils. The wind had not died down (despite weather forcasts) so this steam vent that should have been going straight up, wasn’t.
2. Then, still on our way from point A to B, we stopped at a major tourist attraction:
Two things here – that is my hat blowing in the breeze off to the lower right and despite the level of traffic, and it being before Iceland “opens” (June 1), the restrooms at this place were open. I asked, and was told, that there was nothing else around (seriously – for an hour either way) so they tried to keep these restrooms open when the road was open.
Also – I don’t mean to be evasive, but unless I’m going to look up spellings of places – I can’t pretend to name them.
And, I’ll look up spellings after my first cup of coffee.
Ahem.

Looks like you should have made yourself a hat with ties. Or at least put it on a tether line…
